What is the ανταμοιβή scheme?

The ανταμοιβή scheme is the new reward scheme of the Bank of Cyprus cards, which gives you points for the transactions you perform by using any of the Bank of Cyprus cards at the businesses that participate in the scheme.

These points can also be redeemed at these businesses that participate in the scheme by simply paying less or no money at all!

How can I participate in the ανταμοιβή scheme?

You automatically participate in the ανταμοιβή scheme when you make the first transaction with your Bank of Cyprus card at a merchant that participates in the scheme.

How can I earn points?

When using any of your Bank of Cyprus cards, either debit or credit, to perform transactions at a business that participates in the ανταμοιβή scheme, you earn points instantly. Points collected by using all of your cards are credited to one scheme account owned by you, and they are available for redemption during your next card transaction at a participating business.

Points awarded for purchases performed with the additional cards which are issued under your card account, are also collected in the same scheme account.

Which businesses give me points?

The ανταμοιβή scheme currently includes more than xxx businesses from various sectors, such as retail shops, supermarkets, restaurants etc. all over Cyprus, from which you can collect points when making a transaction by using your Bank of Cyprus card.

How can I be informed about the businesses participating in the scheme?

In order to find out more concerning the businesses participating in the ανταμοιβή scheme, you have the following available options:

How do I calculate the points collected?

The points collected for every card transaction carried out at a business which participates in the ανταμοιβή scheme, are calculated based on the agreement between the Bank of Cyprus and the business at the present time. How can I redeem my points?

Your points can be redeemed during a new card transaction at any of the businesses that participate in the scheme. The redemption can be done for the total or part of the transaction amount for the amount corresponding to the total number of points collected and not part of them. It is noted that when the amount of the transaction is lower than the collected amount, only the points corresponding to the amount of the transaction will be deducted and the remaining points will remain in your scheme account.

Every 100 points you collect in your scheme account equal €1.

As a condition for redeeming your points, your collected points worth should be €5 and more (i.e. 500 points).

Can all cardholders redeem points?

Points can only be redeemed by the primary cardholder who owns the scheme account where the points are gathered.

The additional cardholder can redeem points only if the primary cardholder gives him/her redemption rights.

At which merchants can I redeem my points?

How long are my points valid for?

Points collected shall be valid for a period of three years with a maximum duration of four years. For instance, points collected between 01/01/2016 and 31/12/2016 shall be valid until the 31/12/2019.

Which cards participate in the scheme?

All of Bank of Cyprus cards, VISA, AMEX and MasterCard, Personal and Business, participate in the ανταμοιβή scheme, except from the cards connected to accounts in a currency other than the Euro and the cards issued to minors. The exclusion of minors from the scheme automatically ceases to exist from the day that they reach adulthood.

How can I be informed about the balance of my points?

You may be informed about the balance of your points in the following ways:

Every time you perform a transaction at a business participating in the scheme, you may be informed about the number of points collected from the transaction receipt.
Through your mobile phone from the scheme’s Mobile Application
Via the internet from the website www.antamivi.com.cy
By calling 1Bank at 800 00 800.
Over the counter when carrying out other banking transactions.

The ανταμοιβή application is available for all mobile devices?

The ανταμοιβή mobile application is available for all Android mobiles running Android 4.3+ or higher and for all iPhone mobiles running iOS 7 or higher. You may download the application from GooglePlay if you have an Android mobile or from the AppStore if you have an iOS mobile.

How can I register to the ανταμοιβή website?

To register to the ανταμοιβή website follow the procedure below:

Select “Sign In” from the navigation menu
In the section “Register an account” enter your Identification Number and Date of Birth and press “Continue”
Enter your email address and a personal code and press “Register”
Click on the link which is included on the email received to confirm your registration.
